After the recent election, with all the political parties trying to form coalitions with their enemies, I am reminded of a TRUST coalition few people were aware of.

It’s a coalition which fits in very well with the strategies of the Wealth Mastery System. For us, the members of the Wealth Masters Club, it’s the best coalition ever because it protects our Trust structures against corrupt communists and radicals.

In 1994, shortly before the first democratic election, former President FW de Klerk formed a “coalition” with the Zulu monarch, King Goodwill Zwelithini.

They agreed to put the whole of Zululand in a Property Trust, the same type of trust used by the Wealth Masters Club. Their strategy was apparently to keep it out of the hands of the new government. Why De Klerk really did it, I don’t know, but I won’t be surprised if the king paid him a princely amount. Whatever the reason, I’m glad they did it.

Why?

The King of the Zulus will always be the sole Trustee of that Trust, the Ingonyama Trust. Which, with its 2.8 million hectares, is the biggest landowner in South Africa.

It’s very difficult, if not impossible, for the government to expropriate, without compensation, land held in Trust unless they change the Trust Laws first.

In November 2017, former President Kgalema Motlanthe was appointed by parliament to find a way to change South Africa’s Trust Laws to be able to expropriate Trust property without compensation.

I don’t think they realised they were poking a very dangerous lion!

Within a few days after Motlanthe’s appointment, rumour has it that the King of the Zulus threatened the ANC, but on 27 February 2018, three months after Motlanthe’s appointment, he made his dislike official. Speaking at the opening of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Legislature in Pietermaritzburg, King Goodwill Zwelithini threatened to call on his subjects to take up arms to defend the land under the Ingonyama Trust if the government wouldn’t stop that nonsense.

Viva!!! Long live the King!

I never again heard a word from the ANC about changing the Trust Laws!
