I guess that makes us one of the biggest professional Trust Property Managers in South Africa, if not the world.
A Property Manager is not the same as a Letting Agent. Although tenant administration is part of Property Management, it’s not the only function of a Property Manager – especially if the property belongs to a trust.
“Trying” to manage a rental property is one of the biggest reasons why people are not successful with property investments. Most investors make a complete mess of it. Investors should focus on their day jobs and rather leave the property, trust, and tenant management to experienced people.
It’s like, for example, if you invest in a mining company on the stock exchange – you don’t have to become a miner or a mine manager!
So, why are so many ordinary people trying to manage their own properties?
The answer is STINGINESS!
They are too stingy to pay professionals to do the job for them.
If you do property investment right, both your property portfolio and your day job will flourish. Do it wrong, and both will be a flop!
